The Association of Professional Engineers Australia – your voice in the workplace
The
Association of Professional Engineers Australia (APEA) is here to support all
engineers from when you start your studies to achieving your engineering degree
and all the way through to your retirement.
We speak
with hundreds of engineers every-year and one of the most common questions we
are asked is, what is the difference between Professionals Australia and
Engineers Australia?
As you can
see from this table there are a number of differences between the two associations and
the most important one is, we are here to support you as one of our members
through your entire career.

We first
began supporting professional engineers in 1948 and over time we have grown our
organisation to supporting an additional 11 areas of professionals. We are very
proud of the way we have grown over the last 72 years and what we have achieved
during this time.
Professionals Australian remains an assessment entity for the Board of Professional
Engineers Queensland (BPEQ) and is also an assessment entity for the Business Licensing Authority Victoria (BLA).
Every day
the RPEng team along with our 90+ assessors are working hard to ensure that all
professional engineers are recognised for all the hard yards you have done to
get you where you are today.
RPEng is
the engineer’s choice for registration.
